DONATE TO THE TOOL KITTY CAMPAIGN ON THIS #GIVINGTUESDAY!
On this #GivingTuesday, we are immeasurably thankful for all that our GALA Makers Mill Community gives. Here we are at the end of 2021 and completion of phase 1 of the makerspace construction is just around the corner. A decade long dream becoming a reality through the generosity of giving.
Your giving guided us through the visioning, the planning, the red tape, the unexpected setbacks and creative comebacks, the demolition and reconstruction, and everything in between. You have generously given of your time, your skills, your ideas, your encouragement, your kindness, and your donations.
And, in just a few weeks time a small cohort of our volunteers (known as Pilots) is stepping up to give more. They’ll finish the remaining inside work, set up the work spaces with the current inventory of tools and equipment, and test them so we are ready to open a functional and safe makerspace next summer.
All these gifts of giving – in whatever form they take – are not only generous, they’re inspiring!
With a construction completion date in sight, now we need to shift focus to stocking the space with the necessary tools and equipment.
A donation to our Tool Kitty Campaign this #GivingTuesday will help us secure some very specialized items such as a laser cutter, CNC router, 3D printer, some of the bigger items for the wood and metal shops, and lots of supplies.
