As the air turns crisp and fall routines settle in, many of us feel the pull to start something new, to make time for ourselves, and to reconnect with what inspires us. This season, Makers Mill is excited to offer just that: a brand-new Sunday Art Group Series led by local artist and educator, Martina Cyr.
Running for five consecutive Sunday mornings from September 7 through October 5 (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM), this series is designed to provide both structure and freedom for your creative journey.
What to Expect Each Sunday
The format is simple but powerful:
- 9:30 – 11:00 – Instruction and demonstrations
- 11:00 – 12:00 – Hands-on practice and exploration
- 12:00 – 12:30 – Lunch break with community support and connection (BYO lunch)
Together, participants will explore a variety of fine arts mediums—such as printmaking, collage, drawing, screen printing, and color theory. The group will also have a say in which areas to dive into, making the experience collaborative and unique. And if you happen to miss a session, don’t worry—Martina provides handouts and an audio recording of the lesson so you can stay connected.
Why Join?
We all deserve a space where we can slow down, experiment, and create. This series isn’t just about learning new art techniques; it’s about giving yourself time to feel connected—to your creativity, to others, and to the joy of making. Fall is the perfect season to begin (or return to) your own art journey.
