In a world that’s always changing, one thing stays true: strong communities are built by people who have access to tools, knowledge, and—most importantly—each other.
That’s what we’re all about here at Makers Mill, your community makerspace and vocation hub in the heart of New Hampshire’s Mountains and Lakes Region.
Formerly known as G.A.L.A. (Global Awareness, Local Action), we’ve spent over a decade committed to sustainable community-building, and in just the past few years, we’ve seen something incredible happen: thousands of people walking through our doors not only to learn and create—but to connect, grow, and belong.
Today Is NH Gives — And You’re Invited! Help us win the Power of Community Prize!
Starting at 5 PM today, June 10, and running through 5 PM tomorrow, June 11, we’re participating in NH Gives, the state’s largest day of giving—a 24-hour celebration of community generosity that brings together hundreds of nonprofits and thousands of donors across New Hampshire.
Our goal this year? Raise $20,000 and rally as many unique donors as we can to help us win the Power of Community prize, a $2,000–$5,000 bonus for the nonprofit with the most unique donors in our region.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference—and thanks to a generous local match, every dollar will be matched up to $10,000!
So yes, you read that right:
💥 $5 after 5 PM could help us win $5,000 AND your donation gives double the impact!!
