This July, Makers Mill is opening the doors to a month of creativity with our Youth Vacation Arts & Crafts Series—a vibrant lineup of workshops designed for youth ages 7–13. Classes run Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, July 1 through July 31, with a different project every day.
From painting and mixed media to leatherworking, sewing, nature-inspired art, and creative crafting, each session offers a chance for young makers to explore new materials, learn new skills, and bring home something they created themselves.
Led by artist and educator Jennifer MacLean, these small-group classes combine creativity, hands-on learning, and plenty of encouragement. Kids can sign up for just one class or mix and match throughout the month to create their own summer adventure. With only 6 spots available per class, early registration is encouraged.

Dates: Monday–Friday, July 6–31, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Ages: 7–13
Cost: $40 registration fee (per class) + $5 materials fee per class
Bring: A lunch or snack and drink in a sealable container
Waiver: One-time Youth Waiver required (signed at first class if not already on file)
Class Size: Minimum 2, Maximum 6
