Get ready for a pumpkin carving experience that will take your jack-o’-lantern game to the next level! Makers Mill is hosting its exciting Hack-o’-Lantern Party on October 20th from 12 PM to 3 PM, and it’s perfect for families looking to add some serious creativity to their Halloween fun.
This isn’t your typical pumpkin carving event. At the Hack-o’-Lantern Party, you’ll be able to use everything from traditional carving tools to power tools, along with fun embellishments like LED lights, wires, rhinestones, screws, and more. Want to create a “Franken-Pumpkin” with drills and bolts? Or maybe a “Robot Pumpkin” complete with glowing lights? The possibilities are endless!
Whether you prefer a simple design or want to go all out with something completely unique, we’ll provide the tools, decorations, and some gentle guidance from Jenn Dow, Makers Mill’s resident robotics coach and creative expert. All you need to bring is your pumpkin—natural or synthetic—and your imagination. We promise you’ll leave with the coolest pumpkin on the block!
This workshop is open to all ages, making it a perfect family event. Younger participants (ages 12 and under) will need adult supervision, and with so many creative options available, kids and adults alike can enjoy making their pumpkin as simple or complex as they want. Be prepared for a bright, slightly noisy environment as drills and other tools will be in use. Parent helpers can attend for free if they’re just supervising and not making their own pumpkin, but please make sure to register everyone so we can keep track of attendance.
Spaces are limited, so register ASAP to secure your spot. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled event—sign up today at Hack-o’-Lantern Party Registration. The registration fee is $15, which covers materials (except your pumpkin). We can’t wait to see your amazing Hack-o’-Lantern creations!
