We’re gearing up for something special at Makers Mill — our Phase 2 Completion Celebration on Sunday, October 19, from 3–6 PM — and before we roll out the welcome mats, we’re hosting a Fall Cleanup Day this Friday, October 10, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Whether you’re a longtime member or you’ve been curious to check out what’s happening at 23 Bay Street, this is a perfect day to jump in, get involved, and lend a hand. We’ll be tackling all sorts of light projects — cleaning, organizing, painting touch-ups, yardwork, and a bit of general sprucing up — to get the building and gardens looking their best for the big celebration.
Come for an hour or stay all day — every bit helps!
To show our gratitude, we’ll keep the pizza warm and the soft drinks cold for all our volunteers throughout the day. It’s a fun, casual way to meet fellow makers, get a behind-the-scenes look at the space, and contribute to the community we’re all building together.
And then, just a week later, we’ll celebrate in true Makers Mill fashion — with live music, a food truck, guided tours, and makers in action during our free community party on Sunday, October 19, from 3–6 PM.
