Our Introduction to Electronics class will provide attendees with the basic skills and knowledge to facilitate further exploration into the amazing world of electronics. By the end of class, you will have added two essentials to your “toolkit” of electronics skills and knowledge: soldering and the digital multimeter (DMM).
We will begin by building a basic circuit by soldering components (a battery holder, resistors, light emitting diodes, and push button switches) to a printed circuit board. We will then use a digital multimeter to measure resistance, voltage, and current in the circuit to understand the role of each component and the overall operation of the circuit.
Please Note: This is NOT a metalsmithing or stained glass soldering class.
Please read our Class Attendee Policy, which includes our cancellation policy, prior to registering.
