Join us in this three hour class to create a practical kitchen item used to protect your hands while removing hot bowls, mugs, even casseroles from the microwave. These cozy bowls are a quick and easy beginner-friendly sewing project to use for yourself or to give as a thoughtful gift. They can also be used as a catchall in a sewing or craft room. Using basic machine sewing skills, you will construct each bowl with 100% cotton materials to be sure it is microwave-safe. Techniques you will use (or learn) are double-sided construction, layering batting, sewing darts, and top stitching. Make an entire set of assorted size bowls or multiples of one size, however many you can make in class!!
