FOR THE FULL LIST OF YOUTH VACATION ARTS & CRAFTS CLASSES IN JULY CLICK HERE.
Looking for something fun, creative, and educational to offer your child during the upcoming school vacation? Makers Mill is offering maker workshops for youth aged 7-13, Monday - Friday, in July. Come to as many classes as you’d like; just be sure to pre-register as they are limited to 6 students. Materials are included for each class.
There will be time in each class for students to take a break, so they should bring their own lunch/snack and drink in a sealable container.
Each youth will require their responsible adult to sign our Youth Waiver at the beginning of their first class unless we already have their waiver on file. This is a one-time requirement.
Create your own one-of-a-kind hiking or walking stick in this fun, hands-on class! Each participant will start with a naturally foraged stick and learn how to properly prepare, shape, and finish it.
Using a variety of mixed-media materials, you’ll personalize your walking stick with designs that reflect your style and creativity. Along the way, you’ll build new skills in preparation, design, and decoration while transforming a simple natural object into a meaningful, functional piece you can use and enjoy. Perfect for ages 7–13, this class encourages creativity, connection to nature, and hands-on making.
