Jewelry with Resin Inlay with Joy Raskin

3/14/2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET

Come and explore the colorful, fun world of using resin to enhance your jewelry making skills! Instead of using stones to set in jewelry, we'll be using resin to inlay multi-media treasures such as items from nature, paper collage, and objects d'arts ? Using 2-part quick-setting epoxy, we will add paint, herbs, tea leaves, colored powder, glitter, and more, mix the epoxy and color together, and apply it to jewelry.  Works great for jewelry with cold connections, texture, recessed areas, empty stone settings, and anything else that you want to try.

The instructor will provide epoxy and some coloring agents, but students should feel free to bring anything that they want to add to epoxy to make resin-filled jewelry. Even twigs have been used for resin jewelry!

More experienced students can make their own bezels, otherwise the instructor will supply.

This is a really fun and cool class for those curious to explore the medium of resin and to combine paper arts, found materials and metalsmithing.

This class is for all levels including total beginners.
