If you’d like to become a Maker Plus, which gives you 24/7 access to Makers Mill to use the space and tools independently, taking a Member Orientation is required.
Member Orientations are held each month and are free and open to the public. You have the option to attend the Orientation in person at Makers Mill or via Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to you after registering if this option is requested.
An Orientation is always held on the first Saturday of each month. A second one each month is scheduled and posted based on demand so please reach out to us if Saturdays don't work for you.
Member Orientations are from 9:00am to 10:30am, and review Makers Mill's policies and procedures as described in the Makers Mill Handbook. We highly recommend a read through this prior to the Orientation.
Upon completion of the Orientation, you’ll be asked to sign our Member Agreement and Liability Waiver. After payment of dues, members are given their unique key fob to access the building 24/7. Please note that 24/7 access to the building does not automatically mean access to all the tools and equipment. Many of those require an additional Tool Safety Assessment which is explained in detail during the Orientation.
