Walk in and Weave - 2-part class

This event takes place on the following dates
7/14/2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
7/15/2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Explore the art of weaving in this 2-part introductory class that focuses on hands-on experience, allowing you to discover the tactile and creative aspects of weaving.

In this class, you will be working on floor looms that have already been dressed and are ready for weaving. This means you can dive straight into the weaving process without the complexities of setting up the loom. Whether you're a complete beginner or someone looking to enhance their weaving skills, this class provides an excellent opportunity to experience the joy of weaving.

Throughout the sessions, you'll learn the basics of handling a shuttle and creating woven patterns. The goal is to give you a feel for the craft and help you decide if you want to pursue further exploration in the world of hand weaving.

By the end of the second session, each student will have the satisfaction of taking home a finished hand-woven piece, showcasing the skills and creativity developed during the class. Don't miss this chance to immerse yourself in the art of weaving and create a tangible piece of art under the guidance of an experienced instructor.

This is a beginner class with no prerequisites.
