Intro to MIG Welding 3/25

3/25/2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET

This introduction to using the MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welder will teach the theory, practice, and safety precautions necessary to begin welding steel. This is for anyone interested in learning to weld or taking a refresher. After successfully completing this class, students will be safety-certified to use the MIG welder independently at Makers Mill.

Students will be required to tie back hair, no loose dangling jewelry or clothing, and wear closed-toed shoes. Bring your own safety protection gear if you have them, otherwise we’ll provide. Clothes may be damaged so wear old clothing.  As an additional safety precaution, we also recommend wearing natural fibers such cotton, linen, leather, or wool.
