Amanda King creates bright, colorful abstracts that vividly portray the power of the human spirit. Working with acrylics, found objects and various mediums on canvas, she creates layered textured works. They invite the viewer to look closely at what is underneath the surface of themselves. Beautiful, bold metallics remind the viewer of their own worth. Each work is a study in the complexity of what it means to be resilient — to be human.
