Macrame, Braid & Cordage CANX

1/22/2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM ET

Macrame is a fun and useful craft to learn if you want to get creative but don’t have a lot of space or time to work. You’ll be surprised by the variety of impressive works of textile art you can create with just a few tips under your belt.  In this class you will learn basic and decorative knots for macrame.  We will make our own cordage to the desired thickness, and explore more complex knots and multi strand braid as time allows.

There are so many things you can make with a basic knowledge of macrame: plant holders, wine holders, jewelry, keychains, wall hangings, belts and more!  All these sound like great gift ideas for the upcoming holiday season - personally made by you!

Location: Makers Mill Fiber Arts Studio, 2nd floor accessible by stairs and elevator.

Registration Fee: $40 non-members, $32 members.
Materials Fee:  An additional materials fee of $10 is payable at the first class. Cash or check made payable to Jeanne Flanagan.
