Wolfeboro, NH – This summer, Makers Mill announces a series of fun and engaging Cricut classes aimed at helping local DIY enthusiasts tap into their creativity. Get the most out of your Cricut and create some summer swag at Makers Mill!
Tuesday, August 6 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM or Wednesday, August 14 from 9 AM to 12 PM sign up for the “Cricut: Personalized Frosted Glass Tumbler” class. In this session, participants will create an 18oz customized frosted glass tumbler complete with a straw and bamboo lid. This project utilizes Cricut’s Design Space software and infusible sheets to bring unique designs to life, and no prior experience or special equipment is required.
To get ready for the beach, lake, or pool, participants can sign up for the “Cricut: Canvas Beach Bag” class. They will create a canvas beach bag with rope handles and an inside zipper pocket, adding personal touches with heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and layering techniques. Classes are available on Wednesday, August 7 from 9 AM to 12 PM or Tuesday, August 13 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM.
For those looking to elevate their Cricut skills, they can join the “Cricut: Learn Design Space Software” class on Tuesday, August 27 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. This session provides an in-depth exploration of Design Space, making it easier for participants to turn their Cricut dreams into reality.
Instructor Jilleen Brown, along with her husband Bernie, are the creative forces behind Oak Hill Artisans. They specialize in creating handmade items from a variety of media. Their craftwork spans a diverse range of products including luminaries, jewelry, decals, and more, utilizing a Cricut die-cutting machine, as well as hand-carved boxes, clocks, and pens crafted from wood. Jilleen finds joy in the challenge and creativity that crafting brings. She loves sharing her creations with the world and connecting with others who share a passion for handmade items.
