Annual ToolRaiser Yard Sale 8/13

Save the date

On Saturday, August 13 between 8:30am and 2:30pm, Makers Mill will hold a not-so-typical yard sale to raise money for tools and supplies needed in its various workshops for wood, metal, metalsmithing & jewelry, electronics & robotics, fiber arts, mixed media crafts, fine arts, and digital fabrication.

The makerspace opens to the public in October and the goal is to ensure each work space is outfitted as best-possible with the tools and equipment makers will want to use for their projects.

What’s on offer?

The ToolRaiser, as it’s known at Makers Mill, is an annual fundraiser and features items that will specifically appeal to crafters, fiber artists, jewelers, wood and metal enthusiasts, and those who just love to tinker and repurpose.

Additionally, there’ll be more traditional yard sale items including furniture and other household items. A boutique area will feature upscale fabrics for quilting including Asian materials and batiks, as well as handmade jewelry.

Got something to donate?

If you’d like to contribute something in good workable condition to further support the fundraiser, items can be dropped off at Makers Mill Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm.

The event will be held outside Makers Mill at 23 Bay St, Wolfeboro with a rain date for the next day, Sunday, August 14. There will be no access to the makerspace during the ToolRaiser but all are invited and welcome to attend weekly open houses and tours commencing on September 2nd. Information on how to sign up for these tours, opening dates, and membership will be available at the ToolRaiser, and you can keep up to date with plans right here on our blog, and on social media @makersmillnh.
